Eureka Trust  Eureka Trust is a charitable trust that operates gaming machines in hotels and taverns for the purpose of raising funds for the local community. Eureka Trust was established in April 2003 with one venue and 18 gaming machines to become one of the larger gaming machine trusts in Christchurch. Lion Foundation  The Lion Foundation is a charitable trust that exists for the purpose of raising funds for the community. It was established by Lion Nathan in 1985.
The Foundation owns gaming machines that are situated in hotels, taverns and other licensed entertainment venues throughout New Zealand. We have approximately 2,700 gaming machines in about 175 venues from Invercargill to Kaitaia. New Zealand Community Trust  Kiwis love their sport, and NZCT loves to help them enjoy and participate in their sporting passions.
NZCT are excited about the difference they make to sporting organisations all across the country. Whether it's a school group or adult team, a national sports body or elite competitor, NZCT helps New Zealanders of all ages and abilities to take part in just about every imaginable sporting code.
Every year, NZCT gives millions of dollars in grants to thousands of applicants from a huge range of sporting groups from rugby and netball to kayaking and lawn bowls. NZCT are proud to be New Zealand's biggest funder of amateur sport.
While sport is their primary focus, NZCT also provides funds for charitable purposes such as rescue and life-saving services, education, health, the arts, cultural and community groups.
NZCT funds come from NZCT operators up and down the country who run gaming machines in their hotels, bars and clubs.
NZCT is committed to ensuring money goes back into the communities from which it was raised. NZCT is the only trust with Regional Advisory Committees. These groups of local people help with advice about recipients of funding in their area. So far NZCT has established five of these committees around the country and hopes to create more.
In 2006, we made more than 4000 grants totalling over $38 million. Netball, for example, received grants for just under $1.5 million for everything from uniforms and umpires' whistles to coaching and tournament fees. NZCT also supports community events such as the Pasifika Festival in Auckland, a great celebration of New Zealand's cultural diversity.
NZCT works hard to ensure that it works in the best interest of your community.
Pub Charity  Pub Charity is a charitable trust that makes donations to community groups and organisations, both locally and nationally, throughout New Zealand.
Community funds are generated through the gaming machines located at hotels and taverns. The focus is, and has always been, that the funds generated in a community are returned to that community.
Established in 1987 by the then named Hotel Association of New Zealand (HANZ), Pub Charity was the first organisation in New Zealand licensed to operate gaming machines. It is incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and is one of the largest national trusts operating gaming machines with venues spread throughout New Zealand. Southern Trust  The Southern Trust works on behalf of the community in two important ways. We play an administrative role both in the generation of revenue from gaming machines and the returning of these revenues to local communities in meaningful ways. Mainland Foundation  The Mainland Foundation is an independent hotel-based society licensed to operate gaming machines in hotels and taverns, raising money for distribution to the Community. The Trusts Charitable Foundation  The Trusts Charitable Foundation is a National Charitable Trust distributing funds to the community of New Zealand from the proceeds of gaming machines operated in Licensing Trusts, private hotels, TABs and some sports clubs around NZ.
The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable trust that was established to distribute the funds generated from their gaming venues. TTCF's distribution figure was $23.3 million in the financial year to 31 March 2007 and their current returns make us one of the most efficient and effective Charitable Gaming Trusts in New Zealand.
The Foundation support a broad cross section of non-profit community groups, charities, welfare agencies and educational organisations as well as many amateur sporting clubs and the Racing Industry. The Caverhsam Foundation  Based in Dunedin, New Zealand. Funds from the Caversham Trust's operations are available to be applied for by community, sports, and cultural groups. Scottwood Trust  Our vision is to “make a difference” in New Zealand communities by investing in charitable grants to community, cultural, welfare, health, educational and sporting organisations.
In 1990, Scottwood Trust obtained a licence to operate gaming machines, initially housed in two hotels in Christchurch. The Trust continued to operate a small number of machines and sites until 1997, when the Trustees, recognizing the unique vehicle gaming machines provided for innovative investment in New Zealand communities, decided to actively pursue increases in the number of sites and machines operated. Their goal was to transform Scottwood Charitable Trust into a nationwide professional gaming management and proactive philanthropic organisation.
Scottwood now hosts over 65 gaming venues and 935 gaming machines in hotels and licensed premises around New Zealand.
Profit from the gaming machines is returned to the community in which it was raised in the form of grants. For the year ended March 2006, Scottwood Trust made grants totalling over $14.2 million. Fox & Associates  Based in Christchurch, we are a survey firm who provide professional land surveying and subdivision engineering services for commercial and residential properties in Christchurch and the wider South Island, including subdivision planning, land title surveying land development advice, and consultations for individuals, as well as commercial and government organisations. Arkay 2000 Ltd.  Specialist laminate and solid surface fabrication. Arkay 2000 fabricates sink benchtops, vanity tops bar tops for the commercial and domestic markets. While the main stable of the company's work is in the Canterbury region, it does some work nationwide and has exported to the Pacific Islands. We also do a bit of work for the housing companies nationwide. We've even exported to Tahiti and Fiji. However, the South Island, particularly Canterbury is our main client base.
